French artist François X releases three-track EP The Skin Between Us – Part One

French techno producer François X has unveiled his latest EP, The Skin Between Us. It features three new tracks, ‘Bone and Signal’, ‘No More Shell’ and ‘Silent Tension’ and is out now via his XX LAB label.

François X emerged from the Paris underground while becoming a key figure in the city’s electronic scene through his residency at Concrete. Over the years, he has built an international profile with performances at Berghain, fabric, Awakenings and Melt Festival and releases on labels such as MDR, BPitch Control, Exhale and fabric. His 2018 debut album Irregular Passion earned critical recognition for its emotional and conceptual depth.

The new EP presents a darker, introspective take on techno. ‘Bone and Signal’ opens with a tense, driving energy, while ‘No More Shell’ follows with hypnotic rhythms and industrial textures. The final track, ‘Silent Tension’, closes the release on a more reflective and emotive note.
